Crazy Joe Event Guide – Whiteout Survival
Updated: June 23, 2026
Crazy Joe is a recurring alliance event in Whiteout Survival where waves of bandits attack your alliance members' furnaces. Knowing the mechanics means you barely lose troops and squeeze out the most rewards. This guide explains the flow and the key strategies.
How Crazy Joe works
Crazy Joe sends his bandits against your alliance over several rounds. Each round hits random members; in the final round Crazy Joe himself marches in. The alliance scores points for every bandit unit defeated – the more enemy troops you wipe out, the better the rewards for everyone.
Keep troops in the city
- Station as many troops as possible in your city before the event – they defend automatically against the bandits.
- Don't send out big gathering or attack marches before it starts, or your city stands weak.
- Set your strongest defensive hero as city leader (e.g. an Infantry hero with defensive skills).
Heal and bridge the waves
Between waves, wounded troops move to the infirmary. Keep healing speedups ready so you can return them to action quickly – then they fight again in the next wave and earn more points. Skip the healing and you'll suddenly have no defense in the final wave.
The final wave (boss)
In the last round Crazy Joe attacks in person and deals far more damage. Make sure your troops are healed and fully topped up beforehand. Coordinate within the alliance so as many members as possible meet the final wave with a full army – this is where most points are scored.
Maximizing rewards
- Personal rewards scale with your damage – defend actively instead of hiding under a shield.
- Alliance rewards scale with total score: the more members take part, the more for all.
- Time your troop training so your army is complete at event start.
